Cleopatra SuicideAntony hears a false rumor that his love, Cleopatra was dead, pushing him to commut suicide. Cleopatra does the logical thing and kills herself (rumored to have done it by allowing a cobra to bite her) too in order to avoid Octavian and what he would do with the defeated queen. This left Octavian to be the sole ruler of Rome in 30 BC. Later, Octavian becomes known as Augustus. -
