Stamp Act
The Stamp act was passed by the British Parliament. It was imposed to all American colonist. Every piece of printed paper they used has to be taxed. The money collected was used to pay cost of defending and protecting troops. The significance of the Stamp act is " No taxation without representation." Meaning since they had no representation they had no right to tax its colonial residents. -
The Tea Act
The tea act was a law by the parliament made to reduce the massive amount of tea and to undercut the illegal tea that was smuggled into great Brittan's Northern colonies. This was a big impact on the revolutionary war because it was one thing that colonists did to prop up a failing company, which in the end reduced taxes. -

The Battle of Princeton was an act on the Revolutionary War that was fought in Princeton New Jersey. George Washington decided to attack the British troops before entering which led to him crossing the Delaware river and boosting troops for the continental army. -
Battle of Saratoga
The Battle of Saratoga is considered to be the turning point of the Revolutionary War. The British planned to isolate New England from other American colonies and take command of the Hudson River and allies such as French. The significance is it lead to giving new life to American cause during a critical time. -
African Americans Impact
African Americans did a lot for the revolutionary war. Some slaves fought on the south and some fought on the north. There was also African Americans that were on the rebel groups. They were promised there freedom if they fought in the war but as history shows, it didn't work. -
Womens' role during the Revolutionary War
During the Revolutionary War women played a major role. They had to take over farming and other work that men usually did. They also had to support their family alone during this time period. So women’s rights were changed after war and they were treated with more respect.
