  • The Proclamation of 1763

    It's were the King George the third had delcared that the Appalachian Mountains were going to be their western temporary boundary for their colony. It had made lot's of people mad for the simple fact because they had already bought and owned land. Then after that it had caused more conlfict between the British and North Americans.
  • Parliament Passes The Sugar Act

    It was created to help the decreasing of smuggling of goods (so they wouldn't have to pay taxes). The act had lowered the cost on molasses, hoping that people would stop smuggling. It also, had let officers sieze goods from the smugglers themsleves without the need of going to court.
  • Parliament Enacts Stamp Act

    They had made this law to raise money. It put tax on everything made out of paper. Then, everthing printed had to have a stamp.
  • New Taxes

    After the Stamp Act Crisis the parliament made a new set of laws that is also know as the Townshend Acts. It was made to try and prevent some of the things that had happened with the last one. So these taxes only apply to imported goods.
  • The Boston Massacre

    It was a fight between the colonist and the recoat soldiers.
  • The committee of correspondence is set up by Samuel Adams.

    It's an organization made for the colonists cause of a complaint against Britain.
  • The Boston Tea Party

    It started when the three ships had arrived late and The royal govener woulnd't let the ships turn back around. Then at midnight men went out on the ships and dumped 342 chests of tea overboard and into the ocean.
  • The parliament Pases The Intolerable Acts

    It's when king George 3rd had realized that Britain was losing control over the colonies. So, then he vowed to punish britain. Then he has passed the Coericive Acts, which were very harsh acts to punish people of Massachiussetes for their resistance.
  • The First Continental Congress Meets

    The Colonial leaders had realized that they needed more than boycotts to gain liberty they had sang about in 'The Bold Americans". They needed for the colonist to to like come together for their oppostition to the Britixh policies. So then, after the men had came they made the organization.
  • Battles of Lexington and Concord

    It was the battle from being under Great Britan's control.
