British troops crushed the Americans and forced them to evacuate to New York. -

Sneak attack on the day after Christmas. American soldires crossed the Delaware River to get to trenton and attack unsuspecting Hessians who were tired and unfocused due to the partys from the night before. -

Turning point in the revolution where the French sent ships and Soldiers to the Americans after General Burgoyne surrendered at Saratoga. -
Battle of Yorktown
French and American troops lead by Rochambeau and George Washington respectivly blocked the York river with French ships so the British troops lead by Cornwallis could not escape and could not get reinforements.
