It also has amazing perspective, because everything seems to be pointing to Christ. -

King Henry divorced her because she hadn't given him any son's and he also wanted to marry Anne Boleyn. -

Henry VIII was crowned king in 1509. He was first married to Catherine of Aragon, but they divorced, and Henry carried on to having 5 more wives. Henry enjoyed things like dancing, and hunting, and he is known as "the father of the Royal Navy" since he made the navy so much more powerful with many ships. -

In 1517 Martin Luther posted the 95 theses on the door of the Wittenberg Church. The 95 Theses, Martin Luther 95 of his opinions on the corruption of the Roman Catholic Church. The posting of the 95 Theses led to something called the Reformation. The Reformation was where people realized they didn't like the ways of the Roman Catholic Church and made their own branch of Catholicism, called Protestant. -

Elizabeth became queen in 1558, after her half sister Mary died and left the throne, and many problems, to her. Queen Elizabeth managed to fix everything. Though she had many suitors, Elizabeth never married, and stayed devoted as the Queen of England until she died.
