    From this part, Jerry, who represents the public shows his prejudice to Greasers. We can draw the conclusion that people shouldn’t judge a person by his group, because it is unfair. As for Ponyboy, his misunderstanding with Darry finally disappears.

    Explanation:In this part, Dallas purposely did this because Johnny, the only person he could ever love was gone and there was no other reason to live.
