At first, this novel is the first optic angle of ponyboy. The clues of all novel are by ponyboy, it just like a story. Pongyboy and his brothers were watching movie. After that, they went to a cinema called Nightly Double and have time to go all over town. They met two girls called, Cherry and Marcia, Dally started harassing those girls. The girls didn’t like Dally and they had the quarrel, after that, Dally left them along and pongboy talked with Cherry and got along well with her. Ponyboy and Johnny arrived at the park and they found the car, Marcia’s, came the park. There were 5 people, Bob, Randy, and 3 Socs. It is obvious that socs picked a hole in them. They started quarreling and finally they began to fight. Five people beat two people, ponyboy was dropped into water, socs teased Ponyboy continually that he dizzied. After beat, they went to find Dally and asked him what should they do, Dally told them should go to the mountain to hide policeman. chapter 5 life on the mountain and nothing gold can stay
They bought lots of sausages as food, and stayed at a poor house for a long time, they had haircut in order to avoid policeman. They though people and policeman would find them and punish them. chapter 6 burning church
Cherry began to self-accusation, but everybody didn’t angry with her and forgave her. They were walking and found the church was fired. They decided to help them and recused children. They recuses the children and Johnny was hurt seriously, they said they are greaser, the teacher who in church didn’t believe that. Finally, Darry apologized to Ponyboy and he went to home with Darry. -
