    odysseus's son, natural obstacle to the suitors desperatly courting his mother, he has courage and a good heart but doesnt have the poise and confidence to oppose them.

    daughter of zeus and godess of wisdom, purposeful battle, and and the womanly arts.

    god of the sea. he dispites odysseus for blinding his son, constantly hampers his journey home.

  • zeus

    king of gods and men, who meditates the disputes of the gods on mount olympus.

  • antinous

    the most arrogent of penelopes suitors. he leads the campaign to have telemachus killed.

  • war in troy

    the war in troy was a huge major even that happens in the odyssey, odysseus gets away with his men and escape off to the sea after and end up on cyclopse territory.

  • lotus eaters

    they visited the lethargic lotus eaters and were captured by the cyclopse polyphemus, only escaping by blinding him with a wooden stake.

  • laestrygones

    they re-embarked and encountered the cannibal lasstygones. odysseus's ship was the only oe to escape.
