Exposition: Josh and Sophie have just arrived in San Fransisco and are going to see their Aunt Agnes. Then they see a woman that looks like Scathach, but is Aoife her sister. Aoife kidnaps Sophie in a black limousine. -
Joining The Swords
Exposition: Dr. John Dee is getting back to his house/building in Paris. He tries to get back to San Fran and join the four anchient swords: Clarent, Excalibur, Durendal, and Joyeuse. Then Dee goes into a town and finds Virgina Dare there playing her flute. Then Dee is attacked by a giant group of Cucubuths. -
Stuck In A Prehhistoric World
Exposition: Scatty and Joan have been sent to a prehistoric world and are being attacked by saber toothed tigers. They find a cave to stay in and find that there are four moons, and that the world is a Shadowrealm. -
Battling The Ravens
Rising Action: Dee is able to get to the Traitor's Pool with Virgina Dare and there are attakcked by Huginn and Muninn. Then they hear the howls of the Cucubuths. They both jump into the Traitor's Pool and fall into a unfinished Shadowrealm. Four Cucubuths and Huginn and Muninn are able to enter. -
The Destroyed Bookshop
Pernelle and Nicohlas get back to their bookshop and find it's destroyed. They find some of the weapons needed to fight the monsters on Alcatraz. They also hear Josh, and he tells them that Sophie was taken by Aoife. -
Prometheus
Rising Action: Josh is going to learn the Elemental Magic of Fire. Josh is trying to meet Sophie's power in Elemental Magics. -
The Hook Handed Man
Rising Action: Palamedes, Shakspere, and Germain meet up with Scatty and Joan. They meet a man named Marethyu or Death in the language of Danu Talis. He tells them that they have to re-fight the Battle of Danu Talis. -
Meeting Ma-Ka-Tai-Me-She-Kia-Kiak
Exposition: Machiavelli meets Billy The Kid's friend Ma-Ka-Tai-Me-She-Kia-Kiak or Black Hawk for short. Black Hawk Drives them to visit Kukulkan, Billy's master, to see if their immortality will be taken away. -
To Tammuz
Exposition: Palamedes, William Shakspere, and Saint-Germain are going to Palamedes to see if Tammuz will take them back in time so they can rescue Scatty and Joan. They encounter some dryads on the way. They eventually are sent back and meet up with Scatty and Joan. -
In San Fran
Rising Action: After the close encounter in the Shadowrealm Dee creates a portal with Clarent and Excalibur and it leads them to San Fran, but at the cost of burnig Dee's hands. He could've used his aura to heal, but then that alert where he was to all elders. That is because he has been declared utlaga. -
Summoning An Archron
Rising Action: Dee talks to Josh about learning to be a Necromancer and Josh acceps it, but he has to summon Coatlicue. Dee has Josh under a spell that when he sees Coatlicue all he will see a beautiful girl. The only way Dee has to summon Coatlicue by is joining the swords. Dee is planning to feed Josh to the Archron. -
Indirect And Direct Characterization Continued
... always finds the easy way out. Here is an example-Dare says, "I am no fool like you. I do not kill elders."
Dee says, "I did'nt kill Hekate the Yggdrasil fell on her." -
Josh Drives Away
Rising Action: Josh has learned the Magic of Fire and is being controlled by Mars to drive to Dee's HQ, Coit Tower. Sophie and the others are looking for him, but find out that he's gone. Yet Josh thinks he's in a dream and just driving around. -
Letting Them Loose
Rising Action: Machiavelli and Billy are back on Alcatraz and are going to release the monsters residing there. -
The Battle
Climax: Sophie and Aoife are battling with Coatlicue. Aoife eventually drags Coatlicue into the Shadowrealm. Then Josh chooses to side with Dee and Dare. -
Lost To The Dark Elders
Falling Action/Resolution: Niten informs Prometheus that Josh had gone with Dee. -
Indirect And Direct Characterization
Indirect-Josh is naive because he believes that all that Dee says. Here is an example-"Normally, it would take decades to train you, but there is someone who can grant you this gift instantaneosly." Josh is also brave because he went against his sister's decision to stay with the Flamels. Here is an example-"When Dee fled Josh went with him."
Direct-Dee is crazy because he is trying to get Earth to himself. Here is an example-"Coatlicue what madness is this?" Also Dee is also lazy because he...
