    Navajo and Apache Wars
    Col. Carson kills or relocate many Apaches to reservation in 1862 . clashes drag on until Geronimo surrenders in 1866. Before Navajo can even surrender in 1863, Carson attacked killing lives and destroying homelands.

    A group of whites kills over 200 Indians; Colorado Militia attacked and destroyed a village of Cheyenne Indians.

    Conflict between Lakota and U.S for control of the Bozeman Trail of the Powder River Country.200 killed; It ended with the Fort Laramie Treaty in 1868, in which the United States agreed to abandon the forts.
