The Argonauts\Paper Nautilus
They were killed for their shells and made them endandged. They use their shell to portect them self. A Paper Nautilus might fold its self in its shell, in the picture to the left. -
Mud-Flat Snail
These snails are do not live on land or in the sea, they live in between! You can not see them now because they think you are a threat in their shell. -

This squid is able to "fly". They will suck in water and shoot it out, sending it in air. Then it spread it's fins and arms. These squids "fly" about 100 feet. -

This Cephalopod is strange because of its bright colors. Why would something so soft, boneless, and heathly stand out? It's poisonous and will atack you. -

Cuttle fish are much like a octopus, but they have a bigger head and shorter arms. They fool fish by changing color and pattern. They are the "chameleons of the sea". -
Blue Ringed Octopus
These octopi are amazing, BUT they have deadly porsion. They are yellow with brown spots. Then if shocked, the spots turn blue. they have a cousin the Blue lined octopus, but there is almost no differance. -
Coconut Octopus
It commonly preys upon shrimp, crabs, and clams.They will hunt by shoting one tentacle and pulling back. This is how Cephalopods eat. They will hide in clam shells or coconut husk. They do not change color so they hide. -
Bobtail Squid
The bobtail squid is one mollisk that has a light organ. Found in 1981. They have small fins on their head and when they flap them it looks like a bird's wings. And it uses its tentacles to put sand on it so it hides. -
Mimic Octopus
It was not discovered officially until 1998, off the coast of Sulawesi and shape shifts to fish with poision. By fooling foas it turns in these fish.
