Women Voting
The 19th Amendment went to Congress in 1918 and was ratified by the states on August 18, 1920. This is Modernism because women are conquering the rules, and having it thier way. -
Zion, Illinois bans jazz!
In 1921, the town of Zion, Illinois banned Jazz. Jazz was becoming so popular, but Zion saw it as "Sinful". That onl;y made everyone want to hear it more! We all want what we can't have. -
