The morning of the race the competitors were ready to go by 6 am even tho the race doesn't start until 9. (page 35) -
Tricking Rednecks
While the race was going on, they were being hassled by a few patriotic red necks, so to avoid conflict they told them that there was a black jeep up ahead that was responsible for the selling of the Pentagon, they were gone in a flash. (page 38) -
Attorney Tries to Kill Himself and Others Around Him.
His Attorney was so hopped up on drugs that he went into the bathroom and took a bath with green water and blasted the cheap radio that they had bought, once Mr.Johnson had come back to the room, he asked him to turn down the music but the attorney had different plans, he wanted Mr.Thompson to put the radio in the water with him and when he faked it, he tried to carve a "z" into the middle of his head.(page 58-62) -
Could be Getting Sued
After there was no more to report, the guys took their stuff and ran, without paying a dime, but the companies that they screwed over in the past had caught up to them so his lawyer had to get on a plane and fly home to make sure that the company was held responsible. (page 69) -
Gone Without a Trace
In the morning after finding a new hotel and racking up a hefty bill from the drug induced shenanigans the whole race, his attorney was no where to be found so Thompson had to find a fast and safe way out because he had no money to pay the bill. -
The Insane Circus
About a week later, when they're back in LA, they take some really hard drugs, like LSD and cocaine and go to a circus for crazy people, they almost went insane in there but Thompson was able to get him and his attorney out in time before they went insane. -
Another Bad Trip
After the Circus Trip they went back to their pink and white hotel and took even more hard drugs and when they kicked in, they kicked in hard. They completely trashed the room, set one of the beds on fire, flooded the while lower side of the room and much more.
