A mysterious girl arrives in the box unconsoncuios and the gladers find a note on her back saying, "She's the last one, ever." There is also a note scribbled on her arm saying, "WICKED is good."

Thomas finds out about "Greivers" from a "Runner"
"Thomas was fascinated at the mention of a Greiver. The nasty creature was terrifying to think about, but he wondered why finding a dead one was such a big deal. Had it never happened before?"

Thomas is trapped in the Glade at night.
Thomas gets trapped in the Glade trying to save Alby and Minho (Fellow Gladers) but, he gets trapped in there with the creatures that lie in there.

The Gladers find the solution the the Maze
The Gladers find out that they are letters on the maps so they decode them to get a phrase of words that will help them escape the Glade. ( Rising Action) -
The Gladers battle the Maze's Monsters
The Gladers fight their way through the monsters of the Maze to the terminal that they think will let them escape. (Climax) -
Gally kills Chuck (Thomas's best friend)
After escaping the Glade, Tom and Chuck make it out to a facility but to their surprise, they find Gally who is a Glader who gone crazy. Gally throws a knife that was supposed to kill Thomas, but instead, Chuck dives and takes the hit for Thomas and he dies. (Falling action)
"I promised him! I promise him that I'd same him, take him home! I promised him!" (Dashner 358) This quote states that Thomas cared a lot about Chuck. This is an indirect charcterzation saying that he is caring about people. -
A bus arives to save the Gladers
Some armed men come and shoot the WICKED lady and then they rescue the gladers to go somewhere on the bus.
(Falling Action) -
The Gladers are now safe.
After the Gladers were rescued by the bus, they were brought to a seemingly safe facility where they were fed, dressed, and then they slept. (Resolution)
