    Gandalf and Pippin travels towards the city Minas Tirith to get to safety. When they arrive it turns out it is not safe at all. Pippin offers his service to the king.

  • Merry and Pippin

    Merry and Pippin are finally reunited after being seperated in the final part of the second book. The twin brothers are relieved to see that their brother is still alive.

  • Aragorn

    Aragorn is looking for soldiers for the final battle with help from the dwarf, Gimli, and the elf, Legolas.

  • Sam and Frodo

    Sam finally find his best friend Frodo. They are both very happy and continue their journey to destroy the ring together. The ring can only be destroyed in the Mountain Of Doom in the heart of Mordor.

  • Sam and Frodo

    Sam and Frodo reach a desert, and they dress up as orcs to avoid getting recognised.

  • Sam and Frodo

    An orc army finds Frodo and Sam so they have to act as orcs to not get caught. The orc disguise is the only thing that keeps them alive at this point.

  • Frodo and Sam

    Frodo and Sam manages to escape from the orc army, They can continue the journey towards Mordor. On the way they meet Gollum. Gollum was a previous owner of the ring and offers to help them to find Mordor, but all he really wants is the ring.

  • Minas Tirith

    While Frodo and Sam are striving to get to Mordor, Legolas, Aragorn, Gimli and the rest of the soldiers prepare themselves for the battle against Saurons great army in Minas Tirith.

  • Sam and Frodo

    Sam finds out that Gollum wants to kill both him and Frodo and take the ring. Sam tries to warn him, but Frodo does not belive him. Frodo believes in Gollum's act.

  • The war

    The war in Minas Tirith has begun. Legolas and the rest of the fellowship fight against thousends of orcs, trolls and other nasty creatures.

  • Mordor

    Mordor
    Frodo, Sam and Gollum finally makes it to Mordor.

  • Minas Tirith

    After Aragorn and the rest of fellowship win the war he is crowned king over Gondor.

  • Frodo destroys the ring

    Gollum attacks Frodo as he is about to destroy the ring. Gollum falls over the edge into the doom and dies with the ring.

  • Frodo leaves

    Frodo decides to leave Sam and the rest of his friends because he feels that he can not return to The Shire. Frodo sails off, and Sam, Merry and Pippin return to The Shire.
