Kane created a Community Outreach Program, at the age of 50, that teaches younger kids about fashion and awards scholarships that would give students a chance to better themselves and make an impact on the fashion industry. In Erikson's seventh stage, generatively versus stagnation, if a person chooses to focus on themselves during this time in their lives, they will stagnate.
