Johnny Appleseed was born on 1774 in Leominster, Massachusetts. His real name wasn't Johnny Appleseed, it was actually John Chapman. He got the nickname later on when he got famous for planting apple trees. -

Johnny was a vegetarian nomad who planted apples. He became a legend later on, and his feet were super hard because of all the hikes he took barefoot.He planted many orchards that grew apples. -

Johnny's mother and baby brother die, causing Johnny's father to remarry in 1780. -
