In his senior years, Lin captained Palo Alto High School to a 32–1 record and upset nationally ranked Mater Dei, 51–47, for the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Division II state title. -

Wooden Award and one of 11 finalists for the Bob Cousy Award. He was also invited to the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament. -

Jeremy Lin signed a two-year deal with his hometown Warriors, his favorite team growing up.Although counteroffers from the three other teams were higher, he wanted to play for the Warriors. He also signed a three-year guarantee contract with Nike. -
