The Legend of Zelda
Originally concieved by Shigeru Miyamoto as an interactive garden. The Legend of Zelda gave the world a whole new way to experience their words. Released for the NES which ahd an 8 kb micro processor and a whoping 2kb video ram. The standard resoultion for the nes was 256 by 240.

A Link to the Past
A mlink to the Past was the third game in the zelda series it was released on the Super Nintendo. Utilizing many of the features pioneered in the original it too was a 1/4 down scroller. Playing this game for the first time it really felt like just an upgraded version of the original. This game is often concidered to be the best in the series. The graphics where raster based with a max resolution of 512 by 478. It was 16 bit.

Ocarina of Time
Ocarina of time was a huge break in the top down scrolling editions previously released. This one was released on the Nintendo 64 and was driven by a 3d engine. Ocarina of Time was at it's release, considered to beone of the greatest video games of all time and recieved several awards. The Nintendo 64 had a 64 bit processor with a max resolution of 640 by 480.This game used a method of rendering called Trilinear filtering which allowed for smother graphics. The textures for models where raster. -
The Wind Walker
The Wind Walker was released on the Nintendo Game Cube. Much like the previous title it was a 3d based action platform puzzler. The Gamecube has a 486 mhz processor capable of a max resolution topping out at 640×576. The Wind Walker had a very cartoony vibe. THe graphic where raster based bitmaps over 3d models. sorceress:

Skyward Sword
Skyward sword is a motion controlled 3d action puzzle platformer released for the Nintendo Wii. The Wii has a 729 MHz processor but still only using 640 by 480 graphics NOT HD (Gasp!) THe graphics are once again Raster bitmaps over 3d Models. This game make me want to buy a Wii. Source:
