1000'S Laid off from Chicago schools
Friday, June 14 the Chicago Public Schools announce that they will be laying off 663 employees, including 420 teachers. A month later, they lay off another 2100 employees including more than 1000 teachers! Soon teachers around the US would see job cuts, and layoffs that would lead to strike's in school districts across the US. -
Transgenders in Sports
The Minnesota State High School League votes on December 4 to allows transgender students to join female sports teams. This would allow students who feel trapped an outlet to be who they are. -
