Major Duncan, Alice, and Cora Munro are guided by Magua toward Fort William Henry on a secret route. Alice is doubtful about Magua, distrusting him becuase of his fierce appearance. -
Hawkeye Meets Duncan
Hawkeye meets up with Duncan and his group. They plot to try and capture Magua as they suspect him of having ill intentions. -
Magua is wounded by Hawkeye
Magua attacks Hawkeye and runs into the bush, and Hawkeye fires his rifle and wounds Magua, though he escaped. Magua is marked as the antagonist. -
The group rests in a cave
After Magua escapes, Hawkeye and the rest of the group find a place to rest for the night and set up camp -
The Second Attack
The next morning, The Hurons try to attack the Mohicans again. They exchange fire, and The Mohicans win the battle. -
Hawkeye and the Mohicans fight the Hurans
Hawkeye fires at the Hurans with his rifle then resorts to hand-to-hand combat. Magua is the last Huran left alive, but is then killed by Hawkeye. This is significant because the main antagonist Magua is killed.
