    Korea had been split from north and south due to government beliefs. In Hopes to make Korea united under communism, the North invaded the South.

    President Truman didn't want communism to spread. Since South Korea was also against communism, Truman wanted to help them out. He never actually declared war on Korea.

    McAuther had and additude where he was willing to give up his live for something important to him and thought everyone else should too. His attack on Inchon was a surprise but it worked. He had to encourage others to believe in him because he mostly relied on his own instinct.

    President Truman had Given General MacArthur many warnings about carrying out military actions without his permission, but General MAcArthur's strong-headedness clashed with Truman's apprehensive ways of advancing in military actions. When MacArthur had pulled the final straw, Truman formally discharged him and replaced him with General Ridgeway. In a poll, it was later discovered that 69% of the public was outraged by tis decision gaining Truman ridicule from the public.
