  • The first meeting of the League of Nations

    The first meeting of the Leagyue of Nations was held in Geneva on November 15, 1920. They accomplished settling minor disputes

  • The Beer Hall Putsch

    General Ludenorf and Hitler lead a contingent in a rebellion. Hitler is imprisoned for two years.

  • The Spanish Monarchy is overthrown

    A provisional government is formed to take Spain from a monarchy to a republic.

  • General Gyula Gombos comes to power

    Gombos becomes a prime minister, he is somewhat a dictator setting the stage of Hungarian government.

  • Hitler is appointed Chancellor

    This is the first major step to Hitler's dictatorship. This is also an attempt to reel in German Government chaos.

  • The German Reichstag passes the enabling act

    This act gives Hitler the power to issue decrees with the status of law.

  • Spanish Civil War begins

    The Spanish Nationalists begin the Spanish Civil War. Generals led troops in rebellion against the republic.

  • Bombing of Guernica

    Guernica is a small town that was bombed and gunned down. This massacre left 1500 dead and 800 wounded and hurt.
