in 1991 Tim Berners Lee introduced the world to the internet via World Wide Web. Without this, I wouldn't be able to use the internet to research topics for projects such as this one. -
Online Ordering System
In 1994, the first online ordering system was established. The owner's name is Pizza Hut. This impacted my life because I order Pizza Hut for lunch when I'm at work and all I need to do is order, they deliver it, and I pay without having to leave. -
Mosaic
Mosaic was the first internet application that enabled the public to access the internet. Without Mosaic ever having been created, then we would not be able to use Internet Exlporer, Mozilla FIrefox, Google Chrome, and so on. I use Google Chrome and woudn't be able to if Mosaic had never been introduced to the world -

Netflix allows me to watch almost any television show/movie right on my computer. -
Google
In the year of 1998, Google had been incorporated. In the beginning stages of its development, Google had two search options: Stanford Search, and Linux Search. It has impacted my life because Google is the only search engine that I use in my everyday life. -
Wikipedia (English)
On this date, Wikipedia was created for use in the English language on this date. It helps me today by giving me information for this project. -
MySpace
Before Facebook, MySpace was the most visited social networking website. I used to have one before I logged on to Facebook. It allowed me to keep in touch with friends and see what celebrities were up to. -
Facebook
Mark Zuckerberg made Facebook for the students at Harvard College so they would be able to get in touch with eachother. What started as a small website soon grew into something bigger. Without Facebook I would not be able to stay in touch with my friends and family. -
Gmail
Gmail was released on this date. Gmail is easier to use than the other email sites because it's simple. I use Gmail to save my Google Docs, and Google Maps, as well as use my Gmail account to stay in touch with friends who don't have a Facebook -
Youtube
Youtube is a video sharing website that is run completely by users. Users are able to upload their videos and view others. Without Youtube I wouldn't be able to listen to music -
