The Treaty Of Versailles was signed on the fifth anniversary of the Archduke Ferdinand's assassination. It stated that Germany would claim blame to the war, strip down its arms, and give areas of land away. Ultimately, it lost 13% of its land, 12% of its people, and 10% of the coal produced, which went to France, and was under rule of the League Of Nations. -

The Dawes Plan, created by Charles Dawes, was a plan for America to invest in Germany, loaning them money to pay back to the League of Nations. This ultimately failed, as the League of Nations would also then pay America, making them all reliant on the country. -

The Wall Street Market crashed because, with the growing confidence in the economy, many people invested and took out loans that they were later unable to finance. As a result, over 13,000,000 people became unemployed. -
Patent for the first shaving machine [electric razor] is submitted
