Bank of England Opens
On the First of August, 1694 the bank of England opened allowing for a boost in economy. Money could come in and out of the country in a formal manner allowing for a lot of factories to be able to be built because they could get loans and import stuff using the bank. -
Jethro Tull Seed Drill
Before 1700 farming was a tough and inefficient business but with the edition of the Tull Seed Drill it allowed planting crops to be so much quicker. It worked in a three part system making a hole, planting the seed and covering the hole. It made a 500% increase in crops harvested. -

Textile Machines
More and more inventions where coming out over this period in the early 18th century and with them allowed other machines to be made. Through this period a large influx of people coming into major cities for even a job allowed these new machines to produce clothes and material based products extremely quickly almost to the point of mass production. Some of these include the flying shuttle, the spinning mule and the spinning jenny. -
Blast Furnace
In 1709, Abraham Darby created and tested the first quality iron blast furnace allowing for heaps of iron made so better and more machines could be made. -
3 Crop Rotation System
In the early 18th century created a three paddock revolving system that allowed barley and wheat to be grown in a 300% better way that it was being done before. fields of barley, wheat and a fallow field being grazed by animals would rotate season after season. -
Atmospheric Steam Engine
Thomas Newcomen made the first atmospheric steam engine in 1712 allowing for the start of steam locomotive production and tests to begin. -
Turnip Townsend
Turnip Townsend created a new 4 crop rotation system which grew turnips, wheat, barley and cloves. Turnips would restore fields and were something to feed livestock because before this time livestock were having to be eaten small or would die before making it through the winters. This system created an economy in England based around farming. -
Watt Steam Engine
James Watt makes the first quality steam engine in 1769 allowing for the rise of steam locomotives. Locomotives became a quick transport for this time so it allowed for goods to be transported extremely quickly. -

Tuberculosis
During a fifty year time period in the early 19th century a massive case of Tuberculosis rose killing one third of all people during the time period. Due to dirty situations the disease came back as strong as it ever will. -
Population Census
The First official population census in Britain happened in 1801. In showed that 8.9 million people lived in England and Wales and 1.6 million peopled lived in modern Scotland. This helped the country see what they could work with. -
Gas Lighting
Friedrich Winzer was experimenting on gas for many years until he found a way to light it making a fire that burned for long times. This meant that lights and minor heating could stay on for large sums of time and be in smaller areas than say wood fire. -
Luddites
The luddites were a not so secret group that you could join as long as you were secret about it. They would destroy textiles machines as a way to protest rights for workers yet after many riots kept being taken away to colony countries or hung. The original luddites were said to have all stopped there practices around 1820. -
Puffing Billy
In 1813, Puffing Billy was released to the world as the first Steam locomotive. It would carry freight at extremely quick speeds so factories could get imports in a much less time. -
Plug Plot Riot
One of the first strikes happened in England in 1842 when textile workers spoke up about poor conditions. This only led to captures which converted to a lot of executions and convicts coming to convict countries such as Australia. -
Irish Potato Blight
In 1845 a potato famine hit Ireland hard making many Irish people leave their homes for larger, "safer" cities like London adding to the population boom. -
Telegraph System
Sam Morse makes the first telegraph system allowing for long distance contact. This Technology stuck around for a long time even when the telephone came not to long after. -
9th Constitution
In 1863, the United States of America declared a ninth act of constitution known as the slavery act stopping the importing of slaves. -
First Telephone
In 1872, Alexander Graham Bell creates and tests the first telephone allowing for human vocal communication at long distances. The Technology is still used today as it can connect anyone from anywhere in a heartbeat.
