Arirham Darby made the first coke iron. this is a break through in the makeing and production of iron. Coke is a type of fule for a furnus much like coal. But the iron made with coal was too brittle. To show the amazing strength of this new iron he make the first iron bridge which was a massive torrist atracttion. this new type of iron made all the factories possible. -
Thomas Newcomen's invention of the Steam Engine
He created the first steam engine which was used to pump water out of the mines. James Watt, bettered the Newcomen model.
