I am with my mom in ierland. my dad is in america makeing money. He works to get mony to help us out. My mom named me shamice. At this time of my life i dont have anyidea whats going on. As i kid i had to help my mom all the time doing the wash for are two pairs of clothing. I also only ate rice. My mom was crying every night because she missed are father. we decided to move to america to reunite with with patrick my father. we whant a better life. Ierland move
i live in a small house with money being sent from my dad at elsisland. We have just packed our few belongings into a small bag. Are rundown house that smells and has half a door is soon to be gone. We are finaly moving to america. We will get on the boat in one day so we are on are way to the boat dock now because we have to walk. -
The move
The day came and we were ready to move. there were a few other people there. We were on the boat and my mom said its time for a new life. And she also said that we whould have a nice home and good food. And she said that we whould have money. -

linesWhen we arived ther was so many people. We had to jump in line to get searched. i was so scared when they seperated me and my mom. And they searched us and every thing we had then we meet up at the kissing post. Then a strage man came up to us. -
the man
The strang man said i will give you a house and food and some money. so my mom said what do whant in return he said to vote for me she said okay. But when we were in the house for a few nights we whent for a walk to the newspaper stand and we saw a pictuer of the man who told ust to vote for hime and he was very greedy. so my mom said im not voting for him. -
my dad
Since my mom did not vote for the man she was thrown in jail. And they took are house so i was all anown on the streets. then my dad came running at me . And said lets go i said were he said im ritch who cares. So now we live in new york with lots of money.
