3rd Phase: Dedication to Mass Killing 1941 - 1944
-Soviets prisoners of war, Jews of Eastern Europe, Western, Southern Europe were sent to Auschwitz to be killed.
-Hitler and his advisors decide to annihilate all of the Jews in Europe
--Six killing centers were established, where millions of Jews, Sinti and Roma, and other groups were murdered in gas. -
4rd Phase: Death Marches 1945 - May 1945
-Liberation of Auschwitz
-Killing centers and camps were closed or liberate the prisoners
-Prisoners of camps were forced to march from eastern Europe toward Germany
