The first iPad was released to the public on April 3, 2010. This was the first iPad, and it was revolutionary as it was the first major tablet made by apple. The tablet effected the education community as it was the first real electronic textbook. The iPad featured iOS 3.2 and came in 16,32, and 64 gigabit versions. It had a 9.7 inch screen and had a front and back camera.

iPad 2
This iPad is the second generation of the iPad, and it was released on March 11, 2011.The new iPad added more advanced cameras, a new A5 processing chip, and face time, which is calling someone and being able to see them. This is the most revolutionary iPad, as it ran all the iOS' all the way up to iOS 9, and it changed people because it was the first to be immediately sold in all continents. -
iPad Mini
The iPad mini was a revolutionary product, and it was released on October 22, 2013. This ipad was significantly smaller, but it kept all of the same features and added a new camera but kept the same processor. This is very monumental as it showed apple's future in the technology industry as well as its strength in renovating projects.

iPad Air
This iPad was the lightest ipad and thinnest iPad ever made, and was introduced on October 22, 2013, one year after the iPad mini was released. This iPad took an average of .4 pounds off of the iPad 4 as well as having the new A7 processor and adding a new for the iPads, a motion coprocessor, the M7. It also had the most greenhouse gas emisssions.

iPad Pro
The iPad pro is the best iPad ever made, as it is almost a computer. The 12.7 inch iPad pro was released on September 9, 2015, and the 9.7 inch iPad pro was released on March 21, 2016. The new iPad pros revolutionized the ipad, coming with a new 256 gigabit version, and it came with twice as many pixels as the original iPad, it came with new cameras, a new A9x processor as well a a new battery.
