It became one of the first programsthat let you listen to music. It aslso was the first to let you burn music to CDs and listen to them any time. -

The software is used to video chat with anyone in the world. It was later bought by ebay. -

Originally was for Harverd students to post to their professors. The idea was when the creator was "intoxicated" after his classes. -
Mozilla Firefox.
It was made to over take Internet Explorer. After a few months Firefox was updated every six weeks on Tuesdays. -
YouTube is uploaded.
It was used to upload videos. A year after it was released, it was the most popular website. -
Twitter's first tweet.
It let any user read tweets but only registered users can post. The domain name Twitter.com was already used, then this twitter bought the name. -
New and shiny Google Chrome.
It was made to get rid of Internet explorer because it had security issuses. Some of the staff were ex-programers from the other major internet softwares.
