Vacuum Brewers
The vacuum pot was invented by the loef of Berlin in in the 1840s. A vaccum Brewer warms up water in a lower basin until it's pushed through the cargo of a confined narrow
Tube holding coffee ground. When the lower basin is unfilled and the adequate brewing time passed by, the heat was withdrawn and the result to vacuum would draw the brewed coffee back through a mesh into the lower basin, from which it could be poured out.
