    1701-1810 - Life centered around farms. Goods were hand crafted.
  • Industrial Age

    1760-1840 - Led to the growth of cities as people moved closer to their work in factories. Goods were mass-produced.

    1970-present; Computers allow for the storage, retrieval, manipulation, and communication of huge quantities of data.
