The Nation's First Daily Newspaper
The First Daily newspaper was known as the Pennsylvania Packet and Daily Advertiser. Although there were independent papers before this people became more involved with press during 1780's and 1790's and causing many states to print daily.

First E-mail
A computer engineer named Ray Tomlinson sent the first e-mail as a test message to himself. The computers were side by side in Cambridge, Massachusetts and sent through an ARPANET.
