Scots College student banned from exam over Mo'
The Dominion Post released a story involving an 18-year-old student who was banned from writing his final exam because he was participating in Movember. Luke Slattery, Movember founder, called the school's stance disappointing for punishing the student rather than praising him for raising awareness. -
Canadians raise $22 million for Mo' Charities
Nearly 119,000 Canadian men and women participated in the event and raised $22 million for Prostate Cancer Canada and to raise awareness and education on prostate cancer and men's health. -
Movember merges with TacheBack
TacheBack, a UK version of Movember, merges with the Movember Foundation to help focus raising money and awareness for prostate cancer. -
Canada first in the moustache leaderboard
Canada had 204,757 registered members, second only to the United Kingdom 214,238. However, Canada has raised $10,944,122(US) compared to the UK's $6,450,528(US). A week later Canada had 228,721 registered participants and over $17 million raised.
