The Telharmonium is Patented
Thaddeus Cahill patented the telharmonium in 1897. This instrument lead electronic music into popularity in America. -
"The Mighty Wurlitzer"
The Wurlitzer would overtake the telharmoniums fading populartiy and become a phenomenon in 1910. -
The Theremin
In 1920, Leon Theremin invented the Etherphone, later called the Theremin, which was one of the biggest innovations at the time. This was a unique instrument with an equally unique sound. -
The Ondes Martenot
The Ondes Martenot was very similar to the Theremin. It gave out a similar sound, but allowed more control of the timbre. -
Hammond Organ
