    • small square superstructure on it (harmika-), surrounded by a fence;
    • The construction of the center is a pole (yasti), which is fixed in the dome deep or even deeper in the ground, it forms a thin conical apex;

    The Taj Mahal (/ˌtɑːdʒ məˈhɑːl/, more often /ˈtɑːʒ/;[3] meaning Crown of the Palace) is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna river in the Indian city of Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan (reigned 1628–1658), to house the tomb of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Construction of the mausoleum was essentially completed in 1643

Memorial plan was designed by Sir William Emerson. The building was built in the Italian Renaissance style, but the architect introduced into the composition some oriental elements.
