As territory tensions increased throught Europe and Asia many countries such as Britian France and the Ottoman Empire decided to act on Russia's attempt to gain territory. -
Crimean War Ends
The war ends between Russia and the allience with Britian, France, Ottoman Empire, and the kingdom of Sardinia. The defeat of Russia ends the war. -
India Rebels Against Britian
A year long rebellion starts in India. This made Britain feel very vulnerable and increased tensions between Russia and Britain because of their weakened states. -
Treaty of Peking is signed
After the British and French left Peking. China signed the treaty giving Russia the land to the Amur and Ussuri Rivers. These rivers became Russia's Eastern boundary. -

Russia begins to invade China- Russia takes control of many towns and annexed the Zarafshan River. One of the cities taken over was Tashkent which became the new Russian capital. -
