The O´Leary Legend
Late one night, when we were all in bed,
Mrs. O'Leary lit a lantern in the shed.
Her cow kicked it over,
Then winked her eye and said,
"There'll be a hot time in the
old town tonight!" -

Fire Fighters were late to the fire because of the commander giving the Fire Fighters the wrong address they got there late and the fire got worse -
Afternoon
The Fire was big and the Fire Fighters worked on saving Civilians from burning buildings. -
Night
The fire was uncontrollable by now and the flame had burned half the city. -
After The Fire
Tuesday Oct 10, 1871 was the day the fire was put out, it took two full days of work to put out the big fire. The fire killed 300 people, and destroyed 3.3 Square Miles (9 KM2), and left 100,000 residents homeless. -
