Catherine was orginaly married to Aruthor, then he died. 14 months later was ready to marrie again. June 11, 1509 she married Henry and was anncounced Queen. Soon after she was pregeant with her first child, as a girl. Soon after had another child, to Prince Henry, he only lived to 52 days. Catherine was going to have another boy, than had another miscarage. Herny became fusterated with the lack of male heir, so he started cheeting. Catherine was divored in 1533 and died 1536. -

Ann was a wise beatiful woman all the men wanted. Ann was to be pregeant, so Henry rushed to her attention to be married. So after giving birth ad months of knowing it would be a boy, it turned out to be a boy. Birth to Princess Elizabeth. After trying many times, they all lead to mis cariges, Henry Divroced Ann and had her headed in 1536. -

Birth of Elizabeth I
Elizabeth was the daugther of Henry and Anne. She was born with high hopes of being a male, but when she arrived, the entire family was disappointed. Elizabeth lived a long life, for the time (70 years), and died. The queen ruled for 45 years, a long reign. She defeated the Spanish Armada, restored the Act of Supreimacy, and never married. Also, she wears lots of white powder on because she was scarred from smallpox. She took the throne November 17, 1558. -

Act of Supermacy
Henry VIII broke with the Catholic Church and declared himself supreme head of the Church of England in the Act of Supremacy. This act made England a Protestant country and would lead to many future conflicts throughout Tudor and Stuart England, till finally religious tolerance was made law. This change in religion created constant strife between protestants and Catholics for years. Catholics, except for under Mary I, would be forced to obey the laws of the Church of England. -

Jane was to be Henry one true wife. She became pregant with Edward, and soonly dieing 2 days after her sons birth. She was to be buried at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, in 1537. -

Edward was born on this date. He knew may different languages including English, French, Italian and Spanish. Not only was he the King of England, but also Ireland. He died at age 15. Henry Marries Anne of Cleves
After Henry had been with 3 wives already, he wanted to get the fourth one right. He sent much time debating between Anne and her younger sister Amalia, and finally chose after paintings were made of each. However, it is said that the marry was a smart political descision, Unfortunatly, the marriage got off to a rocky start. The wedding night, Henry was already reconsidering the marriage. They got an annolment on July 9, 1540, a marriage lasting months, after slowly becoming unattracted to her. -

Towards the end of Henry and Anne's marriage, he was recorded as having an affair with Kathryn. It was then said that she was carrying his child during the final weeks of his previous anollment.This kind of news could make him look bad, so they were married privately. Henry was proud of his new, young wife, but whne he found her with two other lovers, he beheaded all three in 1541. -

Henry Marries Katherine Parr
Katherine was widowed during this marriage, but was a loving and caring wife during her husbands final years. However, they met as enemies. Katherine was arrested by the king and his court, but after the King went to watch her die, he forgave her and decidede to marry her instead. She gave birth to her child in 1548, then soon died of illness. -

Queen Mary Takes the Throne
The daughter of Henry and Catherine of Aragon took throne on this and was dubbed queen. As a young lady growing up, when she reached a certain age, she stopped being called Princess mary, and took the name "The Lady Mary." At a young age, she was already engaged to the French dauphin. Also, Mary was very educated, and helped to learn from her mother. Mary was a wild gambler. However, Mary is known so well because she was the first woman ever to be crowned Queen of England. Mary died at St. James' Palace, in a brutal persecution. This bloody death Gave her the name "Bloody Mary," a name still popular today. -
Elizabeth I Death
