Eastates General Meeting Called in May 5th 1789
The Estates General Meeting was called by Louis XVI for the first time in over 175 years to help solve the economic crisis facing France. The King (Louis XVI) hopes to get more tax revenue and since both the 1st and 2nd estates don't pay any taxes they will both target the 3rd estate to pay more tax. The 3rd estate suggests things to make things better for them but they couldn't change anything because the 1st and 2nd estate always agree with eathother. -
National Assembly Formed
The National Assembly was formed in June 17, 1789. It was formed when the king refused to grant them more power, The 3rd estate began to meet on a daily basis and run the country without the help of the king. -
Tennis Court Oath
The tennis court oath is called so because after King Louis XVI learned that they are meeting in a building he locked that building so that they can not meet anymore so they went to look for another place which was a tennis court and took an oath to never seperate until a written constitution had been established for France -
The Storming of the Bastille
The storming of the Bastille occured in Paris, France, on 14 July 1789, when revolutionany insurgents stormed and seized control of the medieval armoury, fortress, and political prison known as the Bastille. At the time, the Bastille represented royal authority in the center of Paris according to google. -

Mob overthrows the Constitutional monarchy, New National Convention, France a Republic
National Convention is an assembly that governed France from september 20, 1792, until October 26, 1975, during the most critical period of the French Revolution. The National Convention was elected to provide a new constitution for the country after the overthrow of the monarchy. -
King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette Beheaded
Both King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette were beheaded on June 21, 1793.They were beheaded because of being convicted of conspiracy with foreign powers and sentenced to death by the French National Convention. -
Reign of Terror Begins
Reign of Terror begins on september 5, 1793. The Reign of Terror was a period of the French Revolution when, following the creation of the First Republic, a series of massacres and numerous public executions took place in responce to revolutionary frevour, and accusations of treason by the Committiee of Public Safety. -
Reign of Terror Ends
The reign of terror ends on july 27, 1794 with over 10,000 death
