The citizens realize what the King is doing. They rise up, revolt, and take the gunpowder and take the Bastille. -

The citizens rose up from their dirty homes and fought to take the Bastille. With their victory, the people took this opportunity to try and take over the King, and maybe win their freedom and rights. -

The people in the National Assembly representing the 3rd estate felt like their position wasn't fair. They created an assignment for themselves to make a document to list the rights of all man. -

Thousands of women marched 12 miles to the Palace of Versailles. All the women in the march wanted the king to come back to Paris and wanted food. -
