The results of the 7 years war were terrible. They caused the French Revolution. The people were desperatly in need of money. They were starving from feeding the troops. -
Tennis Court Oath
Notes
The people of the third estate had made the National Assembly and had met the next day on a tennis court thanks to their court room being locked. They made an oath on the tennis court and said that they wouldn't stop meeting until the D.R.M. was created, which the goal was met. -
National Assembly
Notes
The third estate was tired of not being heard. They made the National Assembly and made their voice heard. -
Bastille is Attacked

The citizens realize what the King is doing. They rise up, revolt, and take the gunpowder and take the Bastille. -
The French Revolution Begins
Notes
The citizens rose up from their dirty homes and fought to take the Bastille. With their victory, the people took this opportunity to try and take over the King, and maybe win their freedom and rights. -

The people in the National Assembly representing the 3rd estate felt like their position wasn't fair. They created an assignment for themselves to make a document to list the rights of all man. -
Bread March
Notes
Thousands of women marched 12 miles to the Palace of Versailles. All the women in the march wanted the king to come back to Paris and wanted food. -

Royal Escape

The King and his family wanted to not be prisoner anymore. They snuck out in their "worst" clothes and escaped to almost the Austrian boarder, but they were caught at the last moment. -
King is Beheaded

The king is beheaded. He is killed without saying goodbye to his kids and wife on that day. -

Death was everywhere. Everyone was afraid that the were next to be decapitated by the guillotine. -

Notes
The people rose up and revolted. They got a democracy and had ended the monarchy. It ended with the death of many people.
