  • Estates Generals Meet

    When the estates generals meet, the third estate wants to earn votes per head not just 1 vote. When the first and second estate disagree the third estate decides to create what they call the national assembly. Here they declared that they would not stop meeting until they had written a constitution.
  • Raiding The Bastille Prison

    When the people of France decided to attack the Bastille prison was when they first decided to act out. They attacked it looted it for weapons and then when they were done they destroyed it. This was the first time the people really acted out against France
  • The Great Fear

    The people of France began to get scared. They worried that the Nobel's might be planning to attack. Also food shortages began to worsen and people began to get scared. As this happen people decided to attack and destroy Manor houses and destroy documents of federal dues, taxes and debts. This took place slightly after the attack on the Bastille prison

    The End of The Old Regime

    The people began destroying all documents and laws that had given the first and second estate the power they had. They quickly limited the abilities that the other estates had. They had destroyed feudalism in France once and for all.
  • The New Churches

    The people still saw the churches as part of the old regime. So they felt that they had to change the churches. The clergy opposed this, and most of the people obeyed him. The churches were put under the French government.
  • The new constitution of 1791

    The people had finally created the new constitution which had limited the power of the kings and rulers. dividing it up into branches of governments. The king agreed with these. But when he tried to escape that caused people to lose faith and trust in the king.
  • The Legislative Assembly

    Not everyone agreed on these new rules the people ended up splitting up into groups. the Consevatives which believed it needed to stop. The radicals still wanted change. The Moderates agreed with both sides depending on the topic.
  • The End of The Revolution

    The battles didn't go well for the Monarchy. they seized the city of Paris and fought to defend it. their marching song became the national anthem la Marseillaise. With the monarchy suspended they needed a new constitution and ended up voting on them.
