  • British defeated at Fort Duquesne

    The first battle of the french and Indian war was the battle of fort Duquesne. General Braddock died from his wounds. This started long losing strike for the British.
  • Attack on the French stronghold

    In July 1758, General James Abercombie attacked a french stronghold northern of Lake Gorge. The French were out numbered almost four to one. The number was not an advantage, they walked away with barley any of there army alive.
  • The Fight at Seaport Brest

    The Fight at Seaport Brest
    In August 1759 the French sought out to reach the seaport of Brest. Edward Hawke lead the fleet into battle. Then the battle of Quiberon began in November 1759.

    The Treaty of Paris
    French gave up all their clam on North America. Giving the land west of the Mississippi to Spain, and east of the Mississippi to the English. This was the end of the French and Indian War, we thought anyway.

  • The Pontiac Rebellion

    The Pontiac Rebellion
    The English moved over the mountains and did not give resources to the Natives like the French did. They moved onto Native American land. The Natives fought back, by attacking and destroying every fort except three west of the Appalachians . They surrendered and the natives got there land. The English then poisoned blankets with a deadly disease, killing many of the Natives.
