William Wordsworth and Samuel Taylor Coleridge publish "Tintern Abbey" and "The Rime and the Ancient Mariner" anonymously in book Lyrical Ballads.
The Rime of the Ancyent Marinere poem is considered the change
modern poetry and the beginning of British Romantic literature. It talks about the journey of a sailor. The mariner stops a man who is on his way to a wedding and begins to tell a story.
