Attack on Pulau Ubin
After Midnight on the 8th of February, The Japenese moved to Pulau Ubin. The british did not care. Now, the Japenses were about to invade. -
Landings From the North West
After landing on Pulau Ubin, the Japenses soldiers used rubber boats and rafts to travelled across the Johor Strait. They were planning on going to the North-West of Singapore. The Australian troops that were there, fought them and kept fighting for quite a while. But soon, more and more large numbers of Japenese troops arrived and the Australian had to be removed. -

Battle of Bukit Timah
By this day, the Japenese already reached Bukit Timah. This was a bad thing that the Japenese would be staying here. The Bukit Timah contained all the food, and all the machines. The chinese locals there, volunteered and fought very bravely. Later, the Japenese took revenge and killed all of the chinese local men, woman and children. -
Decision at Fort Canning
On this day, a meeting was held by the British Officials. They discussed that soldiers were getting tired, men were keep being killed and they were running out of food. -
Surrender
The British decided to surrender to the Japenese. They would surrender on Bukit Timah, near the Ford factory.
