Wolfe wanted to draw Montcalm in to a fight, so he attacked at Quebec City. Wolfe led elite troops up the cliffs near the plains of Abraham. Montcalm and his men left to meet wolfe in the plains. The French were defeated, and Quebec was lost. Wolfe died during the battle, and Montcalm died the next day. -
