The Exodus occurred in 1446 BC. If you look in the Bible Knowledge Commentary states that the Israelites were in Egypt 430 years. The Expositors Bible commentary explains, "The 430 years accord also with the four hundred years predicted in Genesis 15:13-16, when a nation (Egypt) whom they would "serve" could "mistreat" them, at the end of which time that nation would be "judged." ..reminds its readers that the Exodus happened during the fourth year of Solomon's reign. This is also talked about in 1 Kings 6:1. A website under "Bible maps" explains the Pharaoh during this time was Thutmoses III. He reigned from 1485 to 1431 BC placing him directly in the correct timeframe of the Exodus.
