    This is the time when we were around 5 to 6 years old. As kids, books were a way for us to learn and find leisure from it. The known earliest book predates back to the 3rd Millennium BC in Mesopotamia where the use of clay tablets were common.

    Television
    During our childhood, TVs were pretty common, but LCDs weren't. The earliest known idea for television predates back in 1884 when it was proposed and patented by Paul Julius Gottlieb Nipkow. Nipkow never built a working model of the electromechanical television. Did you know that the first ever LCD TV was built by George H. Heilmeie in 1964r? However, it wasn't released in the market back then until the 2000s.

    When we were young, we've seen cassettes played at players which supports a cassette tape format. In 1962, Philips invented the Compact Cassette medium for audio storage, introducing it in Europe on 30 August 1963 at the Berlin Radio Show, and in the United States (under the Norelco brand) in November 1964, with the trademark name Compact Cassette. The team at Philips was led by Lou Ottens in Hasselt, Belgium.

    PC Computer
    We were exposed to desktop computers back in 2007, where the the computer subject was and will always be a part of the education curriculum. The first personal computers, introduced in 1975, came as kits: The MITS Altair 8800, followed by the IMSAI 8080, an Altair clone. Bill Gates and Paul Allen wrote a BASIC compiler for the Altair and formed "Micro-soft".

    Back in our preteen years, we were exposed to black-and-white and colored cellphones. Most likely, we use them to play mobile games. Motorola was the first company to produce a handheld mobile phone. On April 3, 1973, Martin Cooper, a Motorola researcher and executive, made the first mobile telephone call from handheld subscriber equipment, placing a call to Dr. Joel S. Engel of Bell Labs.

    Two years after our exposure to desktop computers, during our puberty period, laptops were starting to become mainstream back then. The “Portal" of the French company, R2E Micral CCMC officially appeared in September 1980 at the Sicob show in Paris. The "Portal" was a portable microcomputer designed and marketed in 1980 at the request of the company CCMC specializing in payroll and accounting.

    During our puberty stage, Nintendo DCs, Gameboy etc. were common back in the day. They were the trend of our childhood back then. Released July 15, 1983, the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) is an 8-bit video game console released by Nintendo in many countries and was Nintendo's first home video game console released outside Japan. In Japan, it is known as the "Family Computer"or "Famicom"

    Back in the day, PSPs were like the star of portable gaming back then. In every free time, this is the thing that kept our attention. The PlayStation Portable was Sony's first handheld console to compete with Nintendo's DS console. The original model (PSP-1000) was released in December 2004 and March 2005. The console is the first to utilize the Universal Media Disc (UMD), which can store both games and movies.

    Our freshmen year as high school students, had replaced the keypad phone era with the advent of the touch screen phones. E.A. Johnson is believed to be the first to develop the touchscreen in 1965. But the tablet, which was patented in 1969, could only read one touch at a time, and it was used for air traffic control until about 1995.

    Photography became mainstream when the social media also became mainstream around 2013. The DSLR was a popular photography equipment to capture landscapes or other things. In 1969, Willard S. Boyle and George E. Smith invented the first successful imaging technology using a digital sensor, a CCD (Charge-Coupled Device). For their contribution to digital photography Boyle and Smith were awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics in 2009.

    While watching movies, we were exposed to the LED TVs. This is where we spent our time lying in the sofa, while we constantly switch channels as we satisfy our boredom. In 1977, The first true all LED flat panel television TV screen was developed by J. P. Mitchell.

    GoPro Cameras
    Just last year, video editing became mainstream. With the introduction of the GoPro, it led us to many creative and innovative ways in video capture. GoPro is an American technology company founded in 2002 by Nick Woodman. It manufactures eponymous action cameras and develops its own mobile apps and video-editing software. In 2004, the company sold its first camera system, which used 35 mm film.

    With the rapid evolution of Science and Technology, we're now introduced to the future of robotic aviation, the Drones. In the near future, Drones will become mainstream that will be used in our daily lifestyle. It was on February 4, 2002, that the CIA first used an unmanned Predator drone in a targeted killing. The strike was in Paktia province in Afghanistan, near the city of Khost. The intended target was Osama bin Laden.
