In 1960, Chrysler rolled out the Dodge Dart for the very first time. A full-sized sedan, it was built with the popular "A-frame" body, which it shared with cars such as the Plymouth Barracuda and GTX. -

after pressure from religious groups, Chrsyler dropped the "Demon" moniker and opted for the less-cool "Sport". -

1976 spelled the end of the Dodge Dart. Tough to meet emission standards and a detuned engine finally put her to rest. -

With sporty European-styling and American flare (like its Charger inspired taillights) the Dart is set to once again put Dodge in the compact sedan market.
